(Nasdaq: CWS), ("China Wind Systems" or the "Company"), a leading supplier of forged products and industrial equipment to the wind power and other industries in China, today announced that it elected Mr. Tianxiang Zhou as a director, replacing Mr. Xuezhong Hua who resigned due to health reasons effective July 7, 2010. Mr. Zhou is an independent director.
Mr. Zhou brings to the Company 49 years of mechanical engineering experience. He started his career in 1961 as a technician at Wuxi Hydro Plant Limited and was later promoted to Senior Engineer. From 1994 to 1998, he was a Chief Engineer at Wuxi Chemical Holdings in its design division. In 1998, Mr. Zhou joined Wuxi Huayang Dye Machinery Equipment Limited as Chief Engineer. In 2004, he became Chief Engineer of Wuxi Angyida Mechanism Limited Company. Mr. Zhou received his bachelor's degree in chemical machinery design from Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology.
