Building on phenomenal previous successes this will be the 7th year of the conference.

Since inception in 2008 its reputation as the world's leading emerging cleantech forum continues to improve. CleanEquity showcases up to 30 carefully sourced and selected emerging cleantech companies. The companies present to specialist financial investors, corporate venturers, strategic acquirers, established industry representatives, key policy makers, government officials, end users and national, international and trade media.

The 2013 conference showcased its strongest companies to date. The rigour and discipline of the selection process improves year by year; companies are examined for qualification on 4 key criteria:

  • Management leadership & experience
  • Exceptional technology with world relevance
  • Robust and verifiable intellectual property
  • Excellent revenue potential

CleanEquity delegates are all senior-level individuals; this ensures that presenting company CEOs meet decision makers who can help their companies accelerate optimally towards commercial and strategic goals; huge emphasis is placed on facilitating direct networking opportunities between delegates and company CEOs before, during and after the event.

Delegates will meet presenting companies of the highest calibre, developing disruptive technologies from across the cleantech sector.

All presenting companies are eligible to receive one of the prestigious CleanEquity Monaco Awards. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco presents the Awards to the winners, which are chosen by a panel of independent experts. Previous winners have gone on to experience outstanding success in fundraising, strategic M&A, licensing, joint ventures and business development.

CleanEquity is hosted by the specialist cleantech investment bank Innovator Capital and continues to enjoy the support of The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Monte-Carlo SBM. The Principality of Monaco acts as the regional host for CleanEquity.

CleanEquity is delighted to announce its continuing collaboration with previous sponsor, international law firm Covington & Burling LLP.

Simon Amies, Partner, Covington & Burling LLP had this to say:

"Covington's global cleantech law practice is pleased to be invited to participate in CleanEquity Monaco for the fifth consecutive year. The two-day event is brilliantly conceived, planned and executed -- drawing from across the globe an engaging and highly interactive mix of entrepreneurs, investors, industrialists and experts who gather for the collaborative purpose of advancing the march of clean technology. Covington's delegation will again bring senior technology and transaction lawyers with broad experience advising and assisting leading technology companies. As such, Covington looks forward to assisting CleanEquity Monaco participants in bringing to widespread commercial reality some of today's most innovative and impactful clean technologies."
