PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 14 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- DBM, a leading global
outplacement, coaching, and career management firm, today announced the
appointment of Robert Gasparini as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer, effective January 1, 2007. He has been serving as the Chairman of
DBM's Board since June.
Gasparini is currently President and Managing Director of Monticello
Partners LLC, a management company that works in partnership with private
equity firms focusing on improving the performance of portfolio companies.
Prior to forming Monticello Partners in 2003, Gasparini served as Chief
Executive Officer of Chubb plc, the third largest supplier of security
services in the world.
Gasparini brings to DBM a wealth of experience in corporate leadership.
At Williams Holdings plc, a FTSE 100 UK conglomerate, he drove profitable
growth as Chief Executive Officer of its Global Building Products Division,
and later as Chief Executive Officer of its Global Security Division by
acquiring underperforming branded companies around the world, rapidly turning
these around, and integrating them into mainstream operations. Some of these
successful operational turnarounds included Yale Locks Worldwide, Nutone in
the US, and Polycell and Cuprinol in the UK, plus the launch of Atlanta-based
Onity, the leading global electronic hotel lock provider. As a result of his
work, Gasparini was elected as Main Board Director for Williams Holdings plc.
Gasparini's career also includes work as European Managing Director for
Fort Howard Paper Company and various strategic and operational assignments
with Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he worked supporting various industries
throughout Europe and North America, including fast moving consumer goods,
beverages, brown goods, automotive, textiles, steel, and energy. He began
his career with Colgate Palmolive in New York.
"I am excited to assume additional leadership responsibilities at DBM and
to begin working more closely with our employees and affiliates worldwide as
we move into 2007 and beyond," said Gasparini. "DBM has a rich history of
leading the industry in developing outplacement and organizational transition
strategies for companies, not-for-profit organizations, and government
entities. I look forward to guiding DBM as we continue to create innovative
solutions in support of our customers and clients around the globe."
Gasparini holds a Master's in Business Administration degree from
Columbia University.
