HONG KONG, Jan. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DHL Express, the world's leading cross-border express services provider, has been appointed by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC") as its Official Air Express Company for the HKTDC trade fairs in 2015 and as Official Logistics Partner for Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza 2015 which will be held on 19 January at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
To serve the logistics needs of tens of thousands of exhibitors, buyers and visitors from around the world who will be attending HKTDC's trade fairs this year, DHL will set up a dedicated telephone hotline and offer express delivery services locally in Hong Kong, and internationally across its global network which covers more than 220 countries and territories.
As the official logistics partner for HKTDC's annual Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza for the fourth consecutive year, DHL will provide seamless logistics support to international designers. DHL will bring world-leading fashion designs from global fashion capitals to Hong Kong for a runway showcase at the most anticipated fashion show held at the HKCEC, the World Boutique, Hong Kong.
As the international specialist, DHL will ensure the smooth and safe deliveries of the collections and pieces from designers of international acclaim, including New York haute couture designer Loris Diran, Swedish fashion designer Lars Wallin who specializes in couture dresses and gowns, Hong Kong's designer duo, brothers Eri and Philip Chu, and award-winning Chinese designer Wang Yutao. DHL will also provide the flexibility and co-ordination needed to ensure smooth door-to-door delivery and customs clearance, allowing designers to focus on perfecting their showpieces.
