SAINT-CLOUD, France, May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dassault has launched a new Chinese language website to make information on the Falcon product line more readily accessible for Mandarin speakers and established a new presence on WeChat, one of the country's most widely used social networking platforms.
The new website, www.dassaultfalcon.cn, is built on the same advanced platform as the Falcon global site - www.dassaultfalcon.com - and provides a host of multimedia content related to the Falcon product line. The site is optimized for mobile and tablet devices and designed to mirror the layout, look and functionality of the global language site, ensuring a consistent experience for all users.
"Our new site and WeChat channel will bring detailed information about our products and customer support network, along with useful press and media information, directly to one of the globe's fastest developing markets in its native language," said Jean-Michel Jacob, senior VP, Dassault Aviation Falcon Asia-Pacific. "The site will provide customers with convenient visual tools, such as interactive tours and multimedia presentations, to explore the Falcon product line, while our presence on WeChat will help us connect with the large population of aviation enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and members of the press and media who are eager for information about business aircraft."
On the new site, visitors can take a virtual tour of the cabin of a Falcon using an interactive 360 degree tour module, learn about the performance characteristics of all Falcon aircraft and view range maps. In addition to finding detailed information about the avionics, propulsion systems and digital flight control technology that make Falcon aircraft unique and highly desirable, visitors can also view and download high res photos and videos from the media gallery.
The site is hosted on servers in China and optimized to enhance the experience of users.
