SHANGHAI, July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Merely 5 years ago with the publication of China's 5th 12 year plan, an insightful government gave birth to the modern era in China senior care. Time has passed quickly and today, among shifting perspectives, a greater understanding of growing old by Chinese gerontologists is emerging: most importantly, ageing has at long last become a bona-fide industry in China. Yet, the ceaseless hunt for knowledge persists, the quest for partnerships and search for innovation continues. On the mainland, ageing exists at the nexus of a complex transformation; nothing is ever at rest in China.

Care Expo is announcing the fourth in a series of premier aged-care trade show and conferences will be held on November 17-18 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center; registration is now open to delegates. This year's Main Summit will be themed "Progress -- Transforming Senior Care into a Healthy China Ageing Society". Overlaying the international aged-care experience onto the domestic backdrop of that unique Chinese paradigm "big health industry", the Main Summit will highlight how China's aged-care industry is transforming into a uniquely modern and distinctly Chinese version of itself.

The Care Expo Main Summit will consist of keynote speeches, focused discussion tracks, and panels, all of which will attract local government officials and heads of associations, facility operators, real estate developers, consultants, solution providers, care professionals, architects and product designers from China and the West. They will gather together for substantive, relevant discussions over topics that will cover development policy, general trends within the aged-care industry, innovative aged-care products and services, integration of clinical treatment and home care, financial models and the application of smart technologies.

Until July 22, 2015 Care Expo reports that it will accept proposals for Main Summit presentations which follow the program outline. Industry professionals interested in presentation opportunities, please see the Main Summit program here: www.CareExpoChina.com/?l=en.

Care Expo provides the ideal the platform for industry peers who devote themselves to constructive and progressive dialogue which supports the transformation of which we speak.

Care Expo further announces that it will also produce China's first ADI MasterClass, (www.CareExpoChina.con/?cat=317) co-organized by international leader Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI), and IAGG Symposium, (www.CareExpoChina.com/?cat=373) co-organized by the globally renowned International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) and their Chinese affiliate CAGG. These two groundbreaking educational programs aim to present a unique learning experience led by healthcare experts, academics, business professionals and governmental policy makers from across the healthcare spectrum, promoting Alzheimer's and aged-care learning. With these two programs, Care Expo establishes itself as the market leader in conference-led, education for aged-care in China.

In a brief interview with CEO Bromme H. Cole, he commented about CARE EXPO's alternative mission beyond being a trade show and conference, "Care Expo would also like to pay tribute to the Chinese men and women who labor on the front lines of the aged-care industry each and every day, caring for the elderly while striving to learn new health standards. Care Expo salutes them as the vanguard of China's aged-care transformation; their dedication to the ideals of caring is an inspiration to us all."
