Halma Appoints Marketing Manager for China

SHANGHAI, Dec. 21 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Halma p.l.c., an international market leader in safety, health and sensor technology, ( http://www.halma.cn ) has appointed Mr Bryan Liu as its Marketing Manager for China. Bryan's role, unique within Halma, is to raise the profile of Halma and its subsidiaries in China through various means including traditional marketing and PR activities and also by organising press conferences, seminars and roadshows, developing and managing the Halma China website, and through the production of company literature for both Halma and its subsidiaries.

Before joining Halma, Bryan was Trade Commissioner for the Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou. In this role he provided strategic consulting services such as market research, promotional and PR activities and government relations for Canadian companies operating in China. Before this he was a Senior Research and Program Officer at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, providing research and consulting services for senior diplomats and Australian companies. He also successfully organized over 25 high-level events, including industry seminars, forums and visits. Prior to this Bryan was a reporter and director at China Beijing TV Station

He has a BA degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University, an LLB from Peking University and was a David and Lucile Packard Foundation Scholarship winner and visiting student in Communications and Business Administration at Menlo College, California, USA. A highly qualified, dedicated individual, Bryan brings to Halma valuable expertise and experience which will assist the company and its subsidiaries establish a fruitful, long-term presence in China.
