Herborist's First European Boutique Opens in Paris

PARIS, April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- High-end Chinese herbal skincare brand Herborist held the opening ceremony of its first European boutique at 38, avenue de l'Opera (2^nd arrondissement), on April 17th, in Paris, France - the brand's first boutique outside of its home market.

Herborist becomes China’s first cosmetic brand with EU certification to go on sale in a leading European market and to launch an independent brand store in one of the world’s fashion capitals.

A walk down to the lower level will give female visitors an opportunity for relaxation and restoration of physical and mental balance at the Herborist Spa after a day spent in the hustle and bustle that is the city of Paris.

With an Oriental-flavored space design, the new emporium will provide Parisians and visitors to the City of Lights with the full experience of Oriental skincare, from herbal skincare and a Chinese herbal spa to Chinese arts and culture.

Popular Chinese actress Wang Likun was invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony. Coming to the end of a long sejour in France, she witnessed Herborist becoming China's first cosmetic brand to open an independent brand store in one of the world's fashion capitals, making the dream of "Eastern beauty dazzling the world" come true.

The space design of Herborist's first European boutique stayed true to the Eastern design philosophy of simplicity in aesthetics: the entire building features an uncomplicated yet fashionable appearance in an open space graced by a subdued Oriental flavor marked by subtle details. Entering the sales area on the ground floor, consumers will be presented with Herborist classic products including the Taichi Series and the Special Treatment Series. A walk down to the lower level will immerse the visitor in the sweet scent of essential oils and the special fragrance of Chinese herbs and an opportunity for relaxation and restoration of physical and mental balance at the Herborist Spa after a day spent in the hustle and bustle that is the city of Paris. A visit to the tea salon upstairs on the second floor introduces the visitor to the world of Chinese culture. Oriental art shows as well as cultural exchange and appreciation events will be held regularly here, enabling Parisians to savor Oriental skincare culture as well as the unique charm that characterizes Oriental art.
