Himfr Forecasts Fourth-Generation iPhone Characteristics

Himfr's analyst analyzes that iPhone, iPhone 3G and 3GS are 115 mm in length. The length of the fourth-generation iPhone is likely to be more than 120 mm, and the body size change may mean the new generation of iPhones' screen resolution will improve.

Himfr's analyst forecasts some characteristics of the fourth-generation iPhone.

First, the back cover will have an aluminum shell.

Second, it will have a front camera.

Fourth, the microphone quality should see improvement.

Fifth, it will use a higher screen resolution. Although, the iPhone's screen quality is already satisfactory.

Compared with other smart phones, iPhone battery life is satisfactory. But with a new generation of products, smart phone battery life can rise 25 to 50 percent.

Seventh, it will have a flat-type back cover.

The iPhone adopted the arc of the rear cover which is not very convenient. It should be a re-designed flat-type.

Eight, storage space should be enhanced.

As storage costs decline, the new generation iPhone will have more storage space.

Ninth, it will support network sharing -- the greater the extent depends on the AT&T.

Tenth, it will have the iPhone OS 4.0 system.
