Joint Venture with Tenggao Electronic Appliance Factory Builds on Honeywell's Leadership Position in Public Safety and Security Business Worldwide
GUANGZHOU, China, June 18 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that its Life Safety business unit has formed a joint venture with Tenggao Electronic Appliance Factory named Honeywell Life Safety A/V (Guangzhou) Co Ltd. The joint venture will focus on the public address and voice alarm (PAVA) businesses, further building on Honeywell's leadership position in the public safety and security arenas. The joint venture will be integrated into the Honeywell Life Safety global business.

Honeywell Life Safety A/V (Guangzhou) Co Ltd will provide safety and security products such as alarm speakers and public control systems to commercial buildings and original equipment manufacturers in China. Manufacturing, design, marketing and consulting services will be conducted in Guangzhou for the Honeywell Life Safety's global customer base.
