Hong Kong aviation industry has enormous potential for growth. According to the 2015 Policy Address, the Government will step up its efforts to foster the development of aviation industry and nurture talents. Mr. Stanley Kan, Director of Service Delivery of Hong Kong Airlines said: "Through the Junior Programme, we aim to cultivate youngsters' interests in the field, and broaden their knowledge and horizons. We believe nurturing aviation talents of the future will provide new power to the industry."

During the event, Hong Kong Airlines staff led students and teachers to explore different places which mean a lot to the field.  They visited Hong Kong Airlines' catering services center and learnt about in-flight catering services. They then had a tour at Hong Kong Airlines' check-in counters in Terminal I and observed daily operation of ground services. Last but undoubtedly the most exciting part, pupils boarded a Hong Kong Airlines' aircraft, visited the cockpit and cabins to have face-to-face interactions with pilots and cabin crew.  To make the first visit of 2015 more special, students dressed in little pilots and little flight attendants' uniforms and carried out in-flight service with the real flight attendants for their very first time. It includes making inflight passenger announcement and delivering meal to passengers. Ms. Helen Tam was impressed by the enthusiasm of students: "Their passion for aircraft surprised me. It's a great time being served by 'little pilots' and 'little flight attendants'. Hope they will play a significant role in the industry in coming future."

The "Triumph Sky High" Junior Programme has received overwhelming response from students, parents and schools ever since its launch in 2014. Hong Kong Airlines will continue to run the programme with other Primary and Secondary Schools in Hong Kong in 2015.
