HONG KONG, Dec. 12 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- The "Year of Italy in China

2006" culminates today with a VIP Gala Dinner hosted by The Italian Chamber

of Commerce at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong. Over 300 VIP

cross-stitch floral motif and illuminated by the glamour of 4,000 Swarovski

crystals in 3 shades of black. The Black Bride outfit is over HK$ 95,000.

It will be auctioned during the evening and the winner of the silent auction

will be announced during the evening by Ms Anna Masotti, the creative

director and one of the remaining and youngest bloodlines to the original

Founder of La Perla Group. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to

the Fu Hong Society, a charity institution led by Father Bonzi who has been

providing assistance to the mentally handicapped here in Hong Kong since

1977.
