SHANGHAI, Jan. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ --On January 1, 2011, Jungheinrich's Managing Director in China, Jan Willem Jongert, passed on his responsibilities to Alexander Oezbahadir. Jongert, who remains with Jungheinrich, will concentrate on expanding Jungheinrich sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
On January 1, 2011, Alexander Oezbahadir assumed the role of Managing Director of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai)Co., Ltd. based in Shanghai, China. Oezbahadir, 32, succeeds Jan Willem Jongert, who will take over as head of the Asia-Pacific region. Oezbahadir has broad experience across a variety of functions at Jungheinrich in Shanghai, where he has been based since March 2007, most recently as Sales and Marketing Director.
Jan Willem Jongert has previously served as Managing Director of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd as well as Vice President, Asia Pacific Region. Jongert, 46, will oversee the expansion of all Jungheinrich Asia-Pacific sales activities from his Shanghai base.
