SHANGHAI and HOUSTON, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (NYSE: KRA), a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers or "SBCs," announces plans to showcase its innovative polymer solutions for adhesive applications at the 15th China International Adhesives and Sealants Exhibition in Shanghai, China. The event will take place at the Shanghai Everbright Exhibition and Convention Center from October 25-27, 2012.

Kraton Polymers invites all interested parties to visit its product showcase in Booth A1312 at the convention center. The company will display its innovative product offerings in pressure sensitive adhesives for labels and tapes, as well as hot melt adhesives for diapers, adult incontinence and feminine hygiene products. Additional applications on display will include Cariflex™ polyisoprene products for cold seal adhesives and hydrogenated SBCs in gels for cosmetics and energy absorption. In addition to the product showcase, Kraton scientist, Dr. Lily Yang,  will make a technical presentation on New HSBC Technology for Modification of Amorphous Polyolefins - More Sustainable Alternatives for Hygiene Hot Melt Adhesivesin Hall 10 on the second floor of the convention center on October 24 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Dr. Yang will discuss how Kraton's continued work on SBC modified products may provide up to a 25% reduction in tackifying resins to formulate adhesives for use in hygiene product formulations.
