Julia Tyler, Associate Dean of London Business School MBA Programme

Julia Tyler is the Associate Dean of the MBA programme at London Business School. She heads up the global marketing of the programme; admission of students; curriculum reform and development; and student affairs functions.

Prior to joining London Business School in 1994, Julia was a senior consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly known as Coopers & Lybrand), where she led projects in further and higher education management and policy for the UK government, European Commission, Higher Education Quality Council, World Bank, economic development agencies and individual universities in the UK and abroad. Before that she was a member of the team that founded the UK's Open University Business School, which specialises in distance learning for adults.

Julia is on the Board of the Graduate Management Advisory Council (the organisation that runs the GMAT examinations) and the Centre for Scientific Enterprise -- a joint venture between London Business School and University College London. She is an auditor for the Association of MBAs and European Foundation for Management Development. Julia is also on the Advisory Board of AMBA International Accreditation. Julia was previously a member of the Governing Body of London Business School.

Julia's first degree is from Oxford University and her second from the Institute of Education, University of London. She also completed an advanced management programme from Oxford University.
