JAKARTA, Indonesia, March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Indonesia's furniture industry is famous for blending rich natural materials and traditional craftsmanship with modern designs to produce world-class contemporary furniture. This year's Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) will once again showcase the very best of Indonesian furniture and home furnishings of top export quality. Over 470 companies will be exhibiting at IFEX 2015 at the Jakarta International Expo fairgrounds on 12-15 March.
Running alongside the IFEX exhibition will be a series of seminars and conferences covering sourcing, exporting and design of furniture. Heading the list of distinguished speakers will be Michael Young. Over the past 20 years Michael Young has established himself as one of the leading international figures in his field, and he continues to push the boundaries of experimental design.

IFEX is being organized by PT Dyandra UBM International, a joint venture between UBM, organizer of Malaysia and China furniture exhibitions, and Dyandra, Indonesia's leading exhibition organizer. The exhibition is hosted by the Indonesia Furniture Association (AMKRI) and is supported by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
