The community of participants will each bring a project they want to work on and complete pre-class assignments, so that faculty can structure the program to support participants' company development plans. They will learn to build growth strategies, use growth metrics, conduct market and partner assessment, set up a corporate social responsibility program and a positive culture, handle long-term growth issues, and make a business model to support strategy, sustainability, and customer acquisition and retention.

Topics also include how to grow organizations through services, new products, or market entry, and how to evaluate practices for scalability. Company leaders taking part may bring senior administrative staff to work together on growth strategies, and post-class sessions and mentoring opportunities will be available.

Participants will benefit from the expertise of top Columbia University faculty who are also accomplished senior executives and entrepreneurs, such as Daniel McQuade, a business advisor and senior marketing and advertising executive with over 30 years of experience in full-scale branding and marketing strategies for retail industries. Daniel has been a noted speaker and marketing counselor for the Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center, a founder of thought leader companies that pioneer change in old industries, and a marketing and branding workshop facilitator at Columbia Business School in New York City.

Dr. Timothy Stuart, executive director of strategic programs, says, "As we continue to expand our Singapore American School network with leading strategic partners around the globe, we would like to offer their unique learning opportunities to the Singapore community. Columbia Business School's Venture for All® Program brings this course to our community of adult learners in Singapore for the first time."
