SEC Files Actions Seeking Proceeds from Lee Chi Ling and Perfect Genius Limited

WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lee Chi Ling has been named as a defendant and Perfect Genius Limited as a relief defendant in a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Securities and Exchange Commission v. Lee Chi Ling, Defendant, and Perfect Genius Limited, Relief Defendant, No. CV 13-5364 (ERK) (filed September 26, 2013). The SEC is seeking the return of proceeds from the sales of China Energy Savings Technology, Inc. securities. Those proceeds are being held in a brokerage account in the name of Perfect Genius Limited.

The summons issued by the Court requires Lee Chi Ling and Perfect Genius Limited to serve the SEC's attorney (H. Michael Semler, Securities and Exchange Commission, 100 F Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20549) and the Clerk of Court for the Eastern District of New York (225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY 11201) with an answer to the complaint that was filed with the Court within twenty (20) days.

If Lee Chi Ling or Perfect Genius Limited fail to file an answer or other response within twenty (20) days, judgment by default will be entered against you by the Court for the relief demanded in the Complaint, without further notice. Service is complete on the date of publication. A copy of the Complaint may be obtained by contacting counsel for the SEC or from the Clerk of the Court.
