Shiner International Announces $3.5 Million in New Contract Wins, Enters the Australian and New Zealand Markets

HAINAN, China, March 24 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Shiner International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEST), an emerging global leader in the anti-counterfeiting and advanced packaging industry, today announced contracts to supply approximately $3.5 million worth of coated films to several Australian and New Zealand-based consumer goods customers. These contract wins further solidify Shiner’s growing international presence in next-generation packaging, which currently spans 62 customers in 26 countries.

In addition, Shiner announced that Impark Films Pty Ltd, a leading Australia-based coated films distributor, has agreed to act as Shiner’s exclusive distributor in the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Shiner said that its proprietary coated films will be used to package food, tobacco, drugs, and cosmetics, among other products, and were selected based on Shiner’s patented packaging technology which ensures the authenticity, safety and quality of consumer products.
