HONG KONG and MACAU, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- StarWorld Macau and Macau Artistes Association announced today that they are joining forces in launching an unprecedented "Star Voices" concerts series, featuring an array of Macau artists at the hotel's Whisky Bar. This brand new collaboration aims at providing a platform for talented Macau musicians to share their passion for music and give full play to their artistic creativity. In addition, this project also serves as the kick-off event for the StarWorld Macau's 8th anniversary celebration.
"Star Voices" will feature a stellar line up of twelve groups of Macau singers over a one-year period, with notable artists like Terence Siu Fay, a popular singer/songwriter in Hong Kong and Macau; Vivian Chan, one of the ten finalists in "The Voice 2" -- a renowned Hong Kong singing competition; and many more. Each concert will showcase the individual artists' exclusive styles, from Pop to R&B and Rock through Jazz. The shows will take place at StarWorld Macau's Whisky Bar on the last Sunday evening of each month, starting from 30 March 2014 through 22 February 2015.
To celebrate the launching of this exciting concert series, all participating Macau singers, together with Mr. Charles So, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of StarWorld Macau, and Mr. Jones Chong, Chairman of Macau Artistes Association, gathered at Whisky Bar today for an official kick-off ceremony. As a symbol of the partnership, all performers contributed to a golden autographed album which will be displayed at the Whisky Bar throughout the year-long concert series.
