Sutor Hosted Factory Tour for Government Leaders

CHANGSHU, China, April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Sutor Technology Group Limited (the "Company" or "Sutor") (Nasdaq: SUTR), a leading provider of fine finished steel products used by steel fabricators and other applications in a variety of industries, today announced that a group of local government officials headed by Mr. Xiang Wang, General Secretary of Changshu Committee of the CPC and Mr. Jianlin Hui, mayor of city of Changshu, toured Sutor Technology Group's manufacturing facilities and the new facility under construction on April 13. Ms. Lifang Chen, Chairwoman and CEO of Sutor Technology Group welcomed the guests and briefed them about the status of the Phase 5 capacity expansion project.

Ms. Chen said: "the Phase 5 cold-rolling project under construction will utilize the state-of-the-art technology and can produce high precision cold rolled steel products used in the manufacturing of automobile panels, panels on boats and cargo ships as well as household appliances. Our existing 250,000 tons of annual cold-rolling capacity has been running over 100% of its utilization ratio and is a bottle-neck for our integrated production processes. We expect that the Phase 5 project of 500,000 tons of annual cold-rolling capacity will alleviate our current capacity constraint, increase gross margin, and enhance our product offerings." The new facility will include an annealing process and can process wider steel strips than the existing cold-rolling line. It is expected to be in operations in the first half of calendar year 2012.
