BEIJING, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- TAL Education Group ("TAL" or the "Company") (NYSE: XRS), a leading K-12 after-school tutoring service provider in China, today announced that it has priced its initial public offering of 12,000,000 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") at $10.00 per ADS. The ADSs, each representing two Class A common shares of the Company, will begin trading on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "XRS."
The underwriters have an option to purchase up to an aggregate of 1,800,000 additional ADSs from TAL at the initial public offering price less underwriting discounts and commissions, within 30 days from the date of the final prospectus.
Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley acted as joint book runners for this offering, and Piper Jaffray and Oppenheimer & Co. acted as co-managers for the offering.
