HONG KONG, Nov. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TCL Display Technology Holdings Limited ("TCL Display" or the "Group"; HKSE stock code: 334) today announced sales volumes of its LCD modules for October 2015.
TCL Display's total sales volume of LCD modules decreased by 11% year-on-year to approximately 5,683,000 units in October 2015. Sales volume of feature phone LCD modules (size <3.5") decreased by approximately 48% year-on-year to around 1,195,000 units, while sales volume of smart phone LCD modules (size 3.5" -- 6") was approximately 4,271,000 units with a year-on-year increase of around 14%. Sales volume of other mobile devices LCD modules (size >6") decreased by 35% year-on-year to around 217,000 units. For the first ten months of 2015, the cumulative sales volume of the Group's LCD modules amounted to 48,436,000 units, representing a decrease of around 2% year-on-year, of which the cumulative sales volume of smart phone LCD modules reached 31,445,000 units, representing a 3% year-on-year decrease.
