3D virtual maps are more commonly associated with urban planning, and the

brand new "Virtual City: System for Urban Investment Promotions," which is

integrated with the online platform, is being ingeniously used for

governmental investment promotions for the first time in China. In the first

half of 2007, the "Virtual TEDA" system will be further improved and expanded

to cover the whole area and hopefully 3D images of all the streets and

buildings in the Tianjin Binhai New Area will be included.
