BEIJING, August 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China TechFaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited (NASDAQ: CNTF) ("TechFaith" or the "Company") today announced it has gained approval to launch its 17VEE mobile games on China Mobile (0941.HK) and China Telecom (0728.HK), which have 670 million and 141 million, wireless subscribers in China, respectively.
TechFaith will initially launch its popular 17VEE mobile games on both China Mobile and China Telecom. Customers will be able to access the games on their mobile phones by using an existing gaming option featured by the carriers. The 3 mobile games compatible with Google Android Platform are all scheduled to launch over the next 4 months.
