JAKARTA, Indonesia, May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Today, Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, MSc, PhD., officially opens the first leading ASEAN pharma ingredients exhibition - Convention on Pharmaceutical Ingredients Southeast Asia (CPhI SEA) - in Jakarta. The 3-days trade show located at Hall D2 Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran focuses on the pharmaceutical ingredients. Major suppliers of pharmaceutical ingredients from Europe, USA, South Korea, India, China and ASEAN and the rest of the world exhibit at CPhI SEA. The tradeshow provides a unique opportunity for the global pharmaceutical industry to directly access to the rapidly expanding markets of the Southeast Asia region.
For three days straight, CPhI SEA 2012 will be the home to 221 exhibitors and 5 national and group pavilions: China Chamber, CCPIT, Korea, Pharmexcil India, and Mensa Group. The home country itself, Indonesia, will have 24 exhibiting companies during the tradeshow, and the rest represent from 24 other countries and regions around the world. The exhibition is open to all professionals who are engaged in the research, development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
