Royal Banquet

The luxury of this royal banquet was incredibly detailed; all the banquet tablewares, used by the royal family of Denmark since 1775, were shipped by air to Shanghai from the royal court of Denmark. Beside members of the royal family of Denmark, over one hundred ambassadors, celebrities and 25 top VIP customers of NE.TIGER in gala dress attended the banquet to share this beautiful night with the prince HRH Joachim.

That night, China’s first luxury brand NE.TIGER presented an amazing fashion banquet of NE.TIGER’s HUA FU collection for the prince HRH Joachim. NE.TIGER’s HUA FU collection combines the top fur provided by the Purple Club from Kopenhagen Fur, with the ancient Chinese imperial tribute Yun Brocade, and Chinese traditional four famous embroideries, gathering the ancient and the contemporary, linking the East and the West. All these deeply impressed the prince HRH Joachim and other guests.

The founder and art director of NE.TIGER, Mr. Zhifeng Zhang himself introduced to the Prince the Yun brocade of Chinese traditional craftwork “Painted by Heaven and Made by Heaven.” The prince HRH Joachim learned that the Yun brocade used to be reserved for the Chinese royal family since BC 405 until modern times, and that two skilful craftsmen can only handmake five centimeters per day. It is also called “inch Yun Brocade, inch gold.” HRH Prince Joachim was amazed by the complexity of Chinese craftwork.

Throughout the fashion show, extravagant fur and colourful Hua Fu complemented one another perfectly; splendid brocade, crystal and the legendary four famous embroideries marked the beauty of the show. Thirty-nine top models represented the cultural connotation of the NE.TIGER brand and its noble style.

ZhiFeng Zhang said, "I believe one who understands the quality of top fur, understands the deep history and the value of Yun brocade, and one who appreciates the meaning and cultural background of Hua Fu, must be a cultivated person with nobility, dignity and elegance. All these elements used to be reserved for royal families in the past, and now are gathered together and presented by NE.TIGER." By its leading concept, wonderful creation and excellent design, what used to be impossible is now accessible to modern people. Thanks to NE.TIGER, all these “sleeping beauties“ have a chance to be known, to be understood, to be appreciated and to be owned.

ZhiFeng Zhang also pointed out that in old societies, social classes used to be classified by origin and blood. Nowadays, social class is divided by the brands people are consuming. Among all the most distinctive symbols, fashion is the most direct sign.

Royal Quality

HRH Prince Joachim, had previously visited China several times for national affairs. The difference this time is that, on the night of December 8th, he came to China on private matters at the warm invitation of China’s first luxury brand NE.TIGER, exclusively to enjoy the uniquely created Hua Fu.

In a recent issue of China Fashion Week, NE.TIGER creatively launched the “Splendid Chinese colours, Splendid Hua Fu” series embodying the renaissance spirit of the Chinese nation, impressing the whole fashion industry and attracting worldwide attention. It also attracted the attention of HRH Prince Joachim, who just got engaged to his French girlfriend two months earlier.

Based on respect and appreciation of 5000 year’s of Chinese civilization, Europe’s oldest royal family -- the Danish royal family -- made an appointment with the top luxury brand rooted in the Chinese luxury civilization -- NE.TIGER.

Also attending the banquet was an old friend of NE.TIGER, the world’s largest fur & leather raw material suppliers and auction house -- the guests from Kopenhagen Fur. Long has the Purple Label fur from Kopenhagen Fur been favored by the royal family of Denmark. Purple, as the color indicates, is not only a symbol of high quality worldwide, but is also the top standard in the fur & leather industry. Purple is the representative color of the Royal Family, and has been exclusively used by the king and royal family for centuries. It represents prestige, nobility and wealth in many cultures. The Purple Club, established by Kopenhagen Fur, only accepts the top fur manufacturers and retailers in the world as its members. And only members of the Purple Club can access the top quality fur -- fur with the purple label. Therefore, the privilege to be able to sell and wear fur with the purple label of Kopenghagen Fur is a glory. And up until now, NE.TIGER remains the only Chinese member in the Purble Club. Heidi, Retail Marketing Manager of Kopenhagen Fur, pointed out: "Mr. Zhifeng Zhang, is an incomparable fur designer in Asia. We are honored that NE.TIGER has become the member of purple Club."

Apart from the fur with royal quality, NE.TIGER, established in 1992, also uses such noble fabrics as Yun Brocade, combined with extravagant design, exquisite craftwork, unique fantasy, masterpiece, rareness, expensiveness and leadership as the guidance of the brand. The Chinese traditional culture and modern fashion elements are perfectly combined, in order to meet the elite class’s desire to pursue the exquisite quality of the life.

As advocated by Mr. Zhifeng Zhang: "NE.TIGER is dedicated to the renaissance and revitalization of the Chinese luxury civilization, to be represented by the noble brand lifestyle for the fulfilment of Dreams -- for the elite to create a distinguished experience. The “N” of NE.TIGER stands for the Noble (noble), E stands for the Elegant (elegant), and Tiger represents the royal demeanor."

NE.TIGER was established in 1992, and has become a leading luxury brand in China. NE.TIGER is not only a top fashion brand for fur and leather products, but also avant-garde brand in Chinese haute couture for customized gowns for galas and weddings. Furthermore, the newly launched Hua Fu series is becoming an icon in the international fashion industry. All these are the reasons that NE.TIGER caught the eyes of the HRH Prince Joachim.

Selection of Royal Family

According to Forbes, among the top 50 luxury brands in the world are included 34 European brands, accounting for 68 percent. The demand of luxury products is closely related to social economy and cultural background. Regarding the European royal family and those of “blue blood aristocrats borne with the gold spoon,” the fact that they received the strict royal education and the cultivation of noble habits from their birth determined that they are the main force of luxury goods consumption. Because of the special history in China, "blue blood aristocracy" in China almost doesn’t exist anymore. Fortunately, NE.TIGER entered the international luxury industry with its open mind and its creativity, won the Europe’s oldest royal families’ heart, and created a path to reach the inaccessible for those “newly rich“ in China.

During the trip to China this time, the prince HRH Joachim, who is especially fond of China, as well as Chinese culture. This is due to the royal family of Denmark having a profound historical link with China. The father of the prince HRH Holger Waldemar Christian, Henglike Infante is not only enthusiastic about Chinese culture, but also can speak Chinese himself. The prince HRH Joachim has been influenced by his father since his childhood, and the prince has developed a strong interest in and deep enthusiasm for Chinese culture. Seeing that HRH the prince Joachim loves NE.TIGER’s dresses, Mr.Zhifeng Zhang presented him a Hua Fu, especially designed for Denmark royal family. This Hua Fu from NE.TIGER, was designed by Mr. Zhang, and is a masterpiece combining Yun brocade with fur from Purple Label from Kopenhagen Fur. The most remarkable thing is that this Hua Fu is a limited edition with only one piece worldwide. This dress is intended for, not only the new princess of HRH Joachim, but also for continuing the deep connection between the Danish royal family and Chinese culture.
