Via the updated floor plan, occupying all 17 of the existing exhibition halls at SNIEC, Furniture China now expands its capacity to set up another 18 outdoor pavilions as additional exhibition halls and two self-built areas in the main square.
Unveiling the Outdoor Tents
This year's outdoor tents will give visitors a fresh outlook of Furniture China. Dressed up behind transparent glass, like fabulous stuff in shop windows, the furniture exhibits are fully displayed even from outside of the tents.
The Design of Designers in Halls N6A and N6B is another noteworthy event at the outdoor tents that cannot be missed. Up till now, around 80 independent designers are vying to attend the show to display their excellent designs in front of global visitors. Furniture China also aims to introduce 300 talented designers, with the intention of bringing China's original designs to the world. At the Shanghai furniture show in September, the Design of Designers is expected to see fashionable furniture works with high aesthetic value and functionality, indicating the enthusiasm of the designers as well as their contributions to the lifestyle show. Together with the Design hall (Hall W4 and W5), the highlight and main focus of this year's Furniture China is obviously on display.
