HONG KONG, Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tonly Electronics Holdings Limited ("Tonly Electronics" or "the Group"; SEHK stock code: 01249) announces its unaudited monthly sales performance in December and for the year 2013.
For the year 2013, the Group's unaudited audio-visual ("AV") product sales revenue increased by 18.9% year-on-year to HK$3,885.3 million. In December 2013, the Group recorded monthly revenue of 330.8 million from AV products, up 76.3% year-on-year, mainly because the audio product sales for December 2013 expanded continuously, and sales of media box started to pick up.
The unaudited sales revenue for video products surged by 50.2% year-on-year to HK$174.6 million in December 2013, while that for the year 2013 decreased by 9.5% year-on-year to HK$2,167.5 million.
The unaudited sales revenue for audio products surged by 119.0% year-on-year to HK$156.2 million in December 2013, while that for the year 2013 increased by 96.8% year-on-year to HK$1,717.7 million.
The Group will continue to solidify its leading position in the AV product market. Meanwhile, in response to market demand, the Group will continue to strengthen the product research and innovation, and will gradually develop a diversified product portfolio with audio products and media boxes as the focus and utilizes its vertically-integrated operations and strong capactiy in the supply chain to maximize the value for its customers and shareholders.
