BEIJING, March 19 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Yinquan Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom, today announced that the Shandong Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau has approved two new provincial industry standards of Shandong, which were established largely by Yinquan Technology. Both standards "Energy-saving Management Implementation Guide of Electronic Information System (DB37/T1497-2009)" and "Datacenter Server Virtualization & Energy-saving Technology Regulations (DB37/T1498-2009)" took effect on March 1, 2010.

The drafting of and compliance with these standards were initiated in May 2009. Yinquan Technology and the Shandong Standardization Institute surveyed many users and collected numerous experts' opinions and suggestions. The final drafts were successfully approved by the Standard Examination Meeting on December 11, 2009.

These two standards, which were established in accordance with the "Shandong Energy-Saving Ordinance," have filled the Chinese domestic gaps in this field, and boosted the implementation of policies and regulations on datacenter energy-saving technology. On the other hand, it provides Yinquan Technology with a great opportunity to promote its virtualization solutions. The government will require local organizations to integrate and optimize their datacenters by following the "Shandong Energy-Saving Ordinance" as well as these two standards. Along with the distribution of the new standards, more and more organizations will realize they need to adopt Yinquan's integral virtualization solutions to effectively reduce power consumption and carbon emissions of their datacenters.

About Virtualization Technology

Virtualization is a proven software technology that is rapidly transforming the IT landscape and fundamentally changing the way people compute.

Today's powerful x86 computer hardware was originally designed to run only a single operating system and a single application, but virtualization breaks that boundary, making it possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the utilization and flexibility of hardware.

Virtualization is a technology that can benefit anyone who uses a computer, from IT professionals and Mac enthusiasts to commercial businesses and government organizations. Join the millions of people around the world who use virtualization to save time, money and energy while achieving more with the computer hardware they already own.
