Recently, the Company has signed a direct investment agreement of over HKD30 million which will be led by Sino Katalytics Investment Corporation ("SKIC") to propel the future development of U.CCTV.com.
According to survey conducted by Data Center of the China Internet, in 2007, net users in China reached approximately 180.0 million and is expected to grow to 240.0 million in 2008 while the total online consumption reached RMB398.8 billion, representing the rising opportunities of ecommerce. To capture these upcoming opportunities, Uxtensa New Media secured the exclusive operation rights from CCTV.com to operate its online travel platform, and to establish the most reputable brand name in the online travel industry.
