SINGAPORE, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vista Corp Holdings Limited, a consortium consisting Sing Lun Industrial Pte. Ltd. and Mizuho ASEAN Investment LP, has completed the management buyout of Vega Company Limited ("Vega") from HPEF6 (SEA1) Limited.  Vega is the holding company of Sing Lun Holdings Pte. Ltd. (the "Group"), a leading supplier of premium fashion and sports apparel products to brand principals such as The North Face, Under Armour, Timberland, Brooks Running and Lucy yogawear.

Founded in 1951 as a textile trading business and through three generations of leadership – the Group has grown and progressed over time to become an integrated supply chain provider for the apparel industry.  It remains headquartered in Singapore and has over the years, expanded its production presence regionally, to countries including Vietnam and Cambodia. The buyout is led by third generation CEO, Mr. Mark Lee, who sees great opportunity for the Group to build on its growth momentum over the last few years.

"We are focused on producing high-value and technically complex apparel products -- to serve customers in the active and sports apparel market -- a segment that I believe will enjoy sustained growth.  We are on track to become the preferred apparel manufacturer known for quality and innovation to our clients.  The buyout has presented a platform for us to bring the Group to the next stage of growth," says Mark.

Mr. Kota Igarashi, CEO of Mizuho Asia Partners (advisor of Mizuho ASEAN Investment LP) shares similar sentiments.  "This is a rare opportunity and we are delighted to partner with a proven and established brand name like Sing Lun.  In this investment, we see potential for the Group to unlock Japanese synergies across the apparel value-chain, including material and wearable technology, brand principals and retail opportunities.  We look forward to working with Mark and his team to realise these synergies."
