TAIPEI, , Aug. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced today its consolidated revenues for July at NT$20.07 billion, up 10.5% year-on-year (YoY).
Key attributes include revenues from Acer's gaming line[1] grew by 61% YoY in July, and by 98% YoY year-to-July. Acer's Chromebooks continued their growth momentum with double-digit revenue growth. Across all three regions Acer delivered solid results, notably in the US, Russia, and South East Asia.
The latest worldwide PC shipment data released by IDC[2], which ranked Acer at No. 4 in Q2 2018 as a continuation from Q1, illustrates its firm foothold and momentum in the market.
