BEIJING, April 17, 2012/PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Hafele Hardware Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (HAFELE) held a two-day event called “Experience German Quality- the Hafele Tour”, and invited a group of 20 real estate developers to visit its headquarters in Beijing on April 12 and 13. Via this tour, the developers gained a better understanding of Hafele in its history, corporate culture, operations and products. Besides, it became the platform of mutual exchange and communication between developers and suppliers.
During the first day, the guests were warmly welcomed by Mr. Uwe Schwier, Hafele (China) President and CEO, and were introduced the development and history of Hafele by Mr. Rupert Spaetauf, Director of Sales and Marketing. Afterwards, they visited the office area, workshop studio, warehouse, and the more-than-800-square-meter showroom. During the visit of showroom, developers showed great interest and asked a lot of questions on product installation and application. The one-hour visit was extended to two hours.
The next morning, the group visited the brand new National Museum of China, where Hafele hardware was applied. Matthias Wiegelmann, Design Director of GMP Architects and this project, explained the original ideas of the design and material selection. Moreover, he showed the application of Hafele products including door locks, lock cylinder and door handles, and stated the importance of hardware for the durability of architecture.
