Hitachi Elevator has collaborated with China Merchants Shekou in delivering several iconic projects in Shenzhen's Prince Bay area over the several years following the launch of their first strategic alliance in 2010. Accomplishments include Tencent Seafront Towers, Wanhai Building, Linghai Building, Yunxi Building and Hana Warehouse, all of which have served to enhance the stature of the city as one of China's economic powerhouses.

China Merchants Shekou, a flagship subsidiary of China Merchants Group that is dedicated to urban development, is the result of combining the unique advantages of the former China Merchants Property Development and Shekou Industrial Zone. Strategically positioned as a leading property developer as well as an operator of building complexes and industrial parks in urban settings across China, the company has been and continues to be committed to fulfilling its mission of creating a better life for the people it serves from three perspectives: the contribution that the project can make to the surrounding urban infrastructure; the enhancements made to the construction process and the improvement in the lifestyle of the future occupants of the building or buildings. This is achieved through the provision of a diverse range of products and services throughout the customer lifecycle.

The signing of this agreement marks a new stage of cooperation between Hitachi Elevator and China Merchants Shekou. It not only further strengthens the existing strategic alliance between the two companies but also lays a solid foundation for future collaborative efforts.
