GUANGZHOU, China, Nov. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- On 29 October 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the fifth list of green manufacturers, which include nominees ranging from factories, design products, industrial parks and supply chain management enterprises. Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hitachi Elevator") was successfully selected as a green supply chain management enterprise, becoming the first company in the elevator industry to be selected. Hitachi (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., Hitachi (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. and Hitachi (Chengdu) Co. Ltd. were all selected as green factories. So far, all five of Hitachi's elevator factories have been named national green factories.
Hitachi Elevator Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise
The green supply chain is a management system aimed at facilitating the concept of green development and taking core enterprise as the support under the overall national deployment decision. As part of this system, environmental protection and resource conservation considerations are integrated along the whole process from product design, raw material procurement, transportation, storage, sales, use to scrapping.
