2012-05-24 19:00 1070

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- LitePoint announced today a breakthrough for cellular product manufacturers that enables device makers to increase their manufacturing throughput significantly as compared to traditional methods. LitePoint® IQvector™ software, in combination with the IQxstream® cellular test platform, is the industry's first parallel quad manufacturing solution.  The solution not only increases throughput, but due to its turnkey design, also compresses test development cycles from months to weeks.

"We are currently demonstrating multi-device parallel test solutions with manufacturing throughput several times higher than traditional test methodologies," said Brad Robbins, senior vice president of Marketing for LitePoint.

IQvector's purpose is to simplify cellular device manufacturing at a time of ever increasing complexity. In doing so, it not only enables increase in production throughput, lowering cost of test, but also significantly shortens time-to-volume.

Robbins added, "In short, IQvector makes parallel, non-signaling cellular testing fast and easy to deploy. The software readily integrates into your existing manufacturing software environment, and comes with built-in support for the leading cellular chipsets. This enables you to rapidly deploy the entire test solution into your manufacturing operation."

Steve Hsu, CEO of ACE Solutions, Hsinchu, Taiwan said, "LitePoint's multi-DUT solutions are enabling us to meet the strict cost demands of our customers. The IQxstream was designed from the beginning for parallel device testing, and the flexibility of IQvector's factory integration and rapid test plan generation allows us to satisfy the diverse requirements of smart phone manufacturers."
