Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. Announces Intention to Refinance Its Senior Secured Credit Facilities

WICHITA, Kan., March 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. ("Spirit" or "the Company"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SPR), announced today that it has launched a transaction to refinance its existing senior secured credit facilities. The proposed transaction would extend the maturity of the Company's $650 million revolving credit facility from 2014 to 2017 and is expected to include a $550 million term loan B maturing in 2019 to replace the existing term loan that matures in two tranches in 2013 and 2016.

The entry into the new credit facilities will be contingent upon, among other things, a successful syndication and the satisfaction of conditions precedent to the definitive loan documentation. The material terms of the new credit facilities, including those described above, could change materially between the date hereof and the effectiveness of the facilities.
