HONG KONG, March 18 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Asia's foremost thought leaders, business executives, academics and government officers will convene in London on 9 April 2010 to discuss and debate the promises and opportunities in Asia after the global economic crisis.

The Fifth Asia Business Forum is a flagship event of the Asia Club of London Business School. It will be one of the largest pan-Asia business forums in Europe.

The central theme for the forum reflects on the abundance of emerging opportunities in the region. Having recovered strongly from the economic malaise of 2008/09, Asia will continue to evolve and transition to become an important driver of future economic growth. The forum seeks to highlight Asia's growing trends and areas of promise for businesses.

Four panel topics that will be discussed in the forum are:

What is typical consumer behaviour in these regions? This panel will look into the Asian consumer's mindset and provide a platform for executives who have successfully introduced their brands in Asia to share their insights.

-- Private Equity in Asia

The landscape for Private Equity Deals is ever changing in Asia and after the crisis, it will be exciting to know what opportunities and what exits lie for PE firms in Asia. This panel will discuss trends and evolution of private equity in Asia.

-- Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Asia.
