- New Tournament Format Makes Spectacular Debut at Full Tilt Poker
- Not for Distribution to the US or Canada

DUBLIN, Ireland, Feb. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Full Tilt Poker's Multi-Entry Tournaments are generating huge prize pools in FTOPS XIX, with the biggest guarantee tournaments yet to come.

The first Multi-Entry Tournament in FTOPS history took place on February 7th, with Event #3 - a $300+ $22 No Limit Hold 'em (http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/holdem.php) Rush Poker* Multi-Entry Tournament

- offering players the opportunity to register up to four times each. This created a prize pool of $987,300 that smashed through the $250K guarantee.

On February 9th, FTOPS XIX Event #10 - a $100 + $9 No Limit Hold 'em 6-Max Rebuy Multi-Entry Tournament - again allowed up to four entries per player. The $1,523,100 prize pool tripled the tournament's original $500K guarantee.

Exclusive to Full Tilt Poker, Multi-Entry Tournaments are an innovative new tournament format that allows players to register for the same tournament numerous times. Each entry has its own chip stack and is dealt its own hand, allowing a player to "multi-table" a single tournament. A player's entries are seated at different tables and if they have more entries than there are tables, two of the entries are "merged" into one.

Running until February 20th, FTOPS XIX is the latest edition of Full Tilt Poker's flagship tournament series and has been extended to 45 events across 14 days to create a total guaranteed prize pool of $22 million. However, the final total of prize money is expected to be substantially higher with the introduction of Multi-Entry Tournaments.

In all, FTOPS XIX features nine Multi-Entry Tournaments culminating in the FTOPS XIX Main Event, which starts at 17:00 ET on February 20th. Players can enter up to six times each for the Main Event to play for a share of the $3 million guaranteed prize pool - the largest of FTOPS XIX.
