HONG KONG, June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited ("Brightoil" or the "Group"; stock code: 933.HK) has announced that Dr. Sit Kwong Lam, Chairman of the Group, has increased his shareholding in the Group through Canada Foundation Limited - an entity owned by him - by exercising 180 million shares of convertible notes on 8 June 2012. After the conversion of the notes, the total number of shares issued by the Group has increased to 8,766,498,266 shares from 8,586,498,266 shares.
