Mr. Min Li Brings Experience in Finance, Accounting and Management

SHENZHEN, China and NEW YORK, Nov. 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gulf Resources, Inc. (the "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: GUFR) a leading producer of Bromine in China, today announced the appointment of Mr. Min Li to its board of directors.

Since December 2006, Mr. Li has served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Since January 2006, Mr. Li has served as Chief Financial Officer for Shouguang City Haoyuan Chemical Company Limited ("SCHC"), which became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in December 2006. His contributions to the Company include implementing effective cost controls while increasing capital utilization. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Li served as Manager of the Financial and Asset Management Department for Shouguang City Yuxin Chemical Company Limited ("SYCI"), and from 2000 to 2004, Mr. Li served as Manager of the Accounting Department for the Yang Kou Branch of the China Construction Bank.
