GUANGZHOU, China, Oct. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 124th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), which runs until November 4 in Guangzhou, is promoting professional and efficient intellectual property rights (IPR) protection to provide insurance to innovation-driven development.

During the 123rd session, our efforts resulted in a 22.7% reduction in the adjudication of infringement cases over the previous session. The on-site Canton Fair Complaint Station for IPR and Trade Disputes continues to provide consultation, protection and dispute resolution services by experts from the Guangdong Intellectual Property Office. In a move to better strengthen exhibitors' intellectual property rights, Canon Fair formulated a series of methods and regulations through the establishment of the Brand Zone, the Canton Fair Product Design and Trade Promotion Center, the Canton Fair Design Awards and more, aiming to foster a fair business environment that values innovation and respects IPR.
