LONDON, Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the launch of its subscription packages in October 2015, SecureChannel (www.sec-channel.com), a SAAS (Software-As-A-Service) platform for secure mass broadcasting, developed and operated by SecureCom Media (www.securecom-media.com), has officially grossed USD 6,800,000 in subscription revenues, these figures a testimony to its meteoric rise.

SecureChannel was originally developed as a solution for business circles and companies in the APAC region to distribute large amounts of information discreetly. It operates from a browser-based application that allows the user to create various HTML5 pages scaled for mobile devices, with the assistance of tools and templates. The pages are then broadcasted to specific users of the Metalk (www.immetalk.com) mobile application, which already carries with itself a full spectrum of information security features.

Since its debut, SecureCom moved quickly to push the sale of this product in Southeast Asia and Southern China, and quickly gained traction amongst the rich and influential. Chinese businesses dealing in technology started using the application for internal training of staff, while having the peace of mind that proprietary information is not duplicated or stolen. Capital market players find this tool extremely useful in the dissemination of information to investor groups and market makers.

In the midst of this, SecureCom recently announced the appointment of its new CEO - Mr. Joe Lam Ka Fai, a Hong Kong born, English national with extensive experience in a myriad of industries, including information technology, food and beverage and computer hardware development.

In a tele-interview with Joe, he revealed the company has also taken recent action to expand into the advertising business, and will soon launch an advertising solution on SecureChannel to allow its users to advertise to the hundreds of thousands of High Net-Worth Individual users of Metalk. Never before had there been an information broadcasting channel with so many individuals with a high purchasing power, grouped together. He believes the introduction of this service would allow businesses access to a market that was never truly tapped for its full potential.

Joe also revealed that SecureCom Media has begun discussions with European investors to lay the foundations for the next round of fundraising for the project. He further mentioned the profitability of the business now, and the already proven revenue model has been extremely convincing of capital market investors.

SecureChannel currently serves subscribers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan.
