HONG KONG and MACAU, Nov. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Marking the 11th anniversary of the annual MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau, City of Dreams will present a gala dinner themed 'Metamorphosis'. It will be an evening inspired by shifting trends and landscapes in the ever-evolving culinary world. The gala dinner will take place on Tuesday, 11th December and will include an evening of delectable dining, exuberant celebration and a gathering of industry giants. For one night only, six acclaimed chefs from 2 and 3-Michelin-starred restaurants will join hands to craft a dining experience like no other.
The theme of this year's gala dinner, "Metamorphosis", is inspired by the modern evolution of culinary trends and the industry's proclivity to adapt in the most remarkable ways. Successful chefs and restaurants never settle with the status quo. They continue to innovate and adapt to the changing times, curating diverse and ever-new experiences for their guests. In a shifting landscape, 'Metamorphosis' is a showcase of the unwavering spirit and creativity of the modern chef.
Following the memorable gastronomic journeys at City of Dreams in the past two years, Melco Resorts & Entertainment will bring the glamorous event for the third consecutive year to Macau, the newly designated "UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy". This exclusive dinner event will be a celebration of top-class hospitality and gourmet dining where guests will be indulged with the unique opportunity to enjoy a seven-course dinner prepared by culinary geniuses.
In addition to City of Dreams' own superstar chefs, Fabrice Vulin of two-Michelin-starred The Tasting Room and Kelvin Au Yeung Man Yin of two-Michelin-starred Jade Dragon, the event will feature visiting culinary masters Alain Ducasse (Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athenee, France; three Michelin stars), Masa Takayama (Masa, New York City; three Michelin stars), Chan Yan Tak (Lung King Heen, Hong Kong; three Michelin stars) and David Kinch (Manresa, San Francisco USA; three Michelin stars). The evening will conclude with sensational French pastry creations by the legendary Pierre Herme.
Inspired by the theme, "Metamorphosis", the gala will be a culinary journey through each of the seven chefs' evolution over a successful career, and their interpretation of modern gastronomy.

For the night's entertainment, the opening performance will be conducted by World of Dance 2017 finalist, Fabulous Sisters, followed by a special musical performance by Hong Kong's leading female singer, Ms Kay Tse.
