Dato' Sri Baima Aose Visited National Assembly of South Korea for Congratulations to Moon Hee-Sang's Election as Speaker

SEOUL, South Korea, July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, Dato' Sri Baima Aose, who is International Steering Committee Member of High-Level International Conference on UN's Water Action Decade, Founding Member of Steering Committee of UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on Environment and Founder of World Trade United Foundation, has met with Hon. Moon Hee-sang the Speaker of National Assembly of South Korea for exchanges of culture, economics and trade between China and South Korea. Dato' Sri himself has also met other politicians like Rin Jung-seong, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Democratic Party (the ruling party of South Korea); Chung Jae-ho, Member of the National Assembly and Chairman of Policy Committee; Song Gi-jung, Chairman of a regional committee of the Democratic Party and Special Agent for Jeju; and Kang Byung-deok, Vice Chairman of the Policy Committee of the Democratic Party.

The National Assembly of South Korea held elections on July 13th, and Moon Hee-sang was elected as the second half of the 20th speaker by overwhelming support. Moon Hee-sang was Chief Presidential Secretary, the Chieftain of the ruling party, Chairman of Emergency Committee of the New Political Alliance for Democracy, Deputy Speaker of National Assembly and the Special Envoy of President Moon Jae-in to Japan.

Moon Hee-sang extended his appreciation to Dato' Sri Baima Aose for active contribution on South Korea-China public diplomacy for the past 11 years though religious, cultural and art exchanges improving the bilateral understanding and friendship. He also praised World Trade United Foundation founded by Dato' Sri Baima Aose since it has been organizing celebrations for anniversary of South Korea-China Relations and activities for economic and cultural exchanges for many years.

Dato' Sri Baima Aose first extended his gratitude to Moon Hee-sang for supporting his cause in public diplomacy for years. Dato' Sri Baima Aose congratulated Moon Hee-sang being elected as the Speaker of National Assembly and hopes Moon Hee-sang could play an important role to strengthen the high-level communication between China and South Korea. The China-South Korea Strategic Partnership and cooperation in "Belt and Road" could be advanced by his leadership, for South Korea joining China and other countries in building the Human Community of Human Destiny, Dato' Sri Baima Aose said.
