TUV SUD Signs Agreement With Key Brazilian Certification Body to Allow Fast and Cost-Effective Market Access for Manufacturers Into Brazil

SHANGHAI, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- TUV SUD has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with key Brazilian certification-Associacao NCC Certificacoes do Brasil, to provide manufacturers of IT solutions, Telecommunication devices, Household appliances and Medical products, with comprehensive testing and certification services for entry into the Brazilian market. The MOU also allows manufacturers in Brazil to have their products tested by TUV SUD for fast access to the entire Asia Pacific region.

 Manufacturers in Asia Pacific intending to market their products in Brazil can now have their products tested at any of TUV SUD’s test facilities located across the region. Upon the completion of tests, products found in compliance with the required standards will be affixed with the NCC Mark. The NCC Mark is sanctioned by Associacao NCC Certificacoes do Brasil, an accredited certification body by INMETRO, designated by ANATEL and DENATRAN. 

Brazilian regulations requiring factory inspections are also covered by this MOU. For example, Brazilian manufacturers with factories located in Asia Pacific can now choose to have such inspections done by TUV SUD experts based in various countries across the region, translating into further cost savings. With the MOU, TUV SUD aims to raise the competitive strength and increase market access for its customers in Asia Pacific. 

TUV SUD Greater China Vice President Mr. Lutz Langguth believes that the MOU will help to minimise technical barriers between Asia Pacific and Brazil, without the need for re-testing and re-certification of products.
