Cushman & Wakefield Names Maggie Chu as Executive Director of Landlord / Owner Representation Services

HONG KONG, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately held commercial real estate services firm, today announced that Maggie Chu has been appointed as Executive Director of Landlord/Owner Representation Services, Hong Kong with effect from August 3rd 2012.

Maggie leads a team of professionals that focuses on strategy formulation, market segment positioning, pricing, and executing leasing and sales for Hong Kong's project owners and landlords. Additionally, Maggie will advise owners and developers on acquisition of office and industrial investment properties, as well as provide advisory services for both local conglomerates and multinational corporations.

Maggie has over 20 years of commercial property experience and a proven track record of executing large scale investment transactions and leasing major commercial projects. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Maggie was the Senior Director and Head of Kowloon Commercial Department at Savills (Hong Kong) Ltd. She was one of the firm's top performers and has been awarded multiple accolades. Maggie has been retained by many reputable developers and landlords, having successfully handled the selling and leasing of over 10 million square feet of commercial space in the past decade. This included the leasing of 2.5 million square feet in ICC, one of Hong Kong's most prestigious office projects and its tallest office tower. Also under her belt are numerous successful re-branding projects and the implementation of ambitious real estate ventures on behalf of well-known landlords and owners.

In addition, Maggie has witnessed the rise of the new Kowloon East commercial hub while being at the forefront of the Kowloon East commercial property market since 1990. As a result of her impressive track record in marketing the area's new development, Maggie and her team were appointed as the sole and lead agencies for anchor projects such as Kerry Properties' Enterprise Square development in Kowloon Bay and Sun Hung Kai's Millennium City development in Kwun Tong. Maggie was also appointed as the exclusive representative for Winsor Properties' Landmark East (1.3 million square feet) and Nan Fung's Octa Tower (700,000 square feet).
