"The Company has experienced strong interest from major vehicle manufacturers in the quality of its lithium-based batteries for electric vehicles. For example, China BAK's EV battery cells power a set of pure electric vehicles manufactured by Dongfeng-Yulon Motor Sales Co., Ltd., a joint venture between leading Taiwanese automaker Yulon Motor and Chinese automaker Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. and delivered to the public transportation authority of the city of Hangzhou, China on June 17.
