DHL Express Hong Kong Strengthens Support for Small Order Suppliers in Collaboration with Hong Kong Trade Development Council

HONG KONG, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DHL Express, the world's leading international express service provider, today announced the launch of a new year-round express delivery promotion and e-commerce workshops in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to further enhance its support for small order suppliers.

As the Official Air Express Company for HKTDC trade fairs in 2015, providing logistics support at over 25 events organized by the HKTDC this year, DHL Express Hong Kong will provide small order suppliers with significant corporate discounts on international express services from October 1, 2015 to December 31, 2016. Verified suppliers selling through the hktdc.com Small Orders online transaction platform (http://smallorders.hktdc.com) will be eligible for 40 per cent off the published rates for international services including DHL Express Worldwide, DHL Express 9:00, DHL Express 10:30 and DHL Express 12:00.

The company will also organize a series of workshops with the HKTDC to equip these suppliers with e-commerce knowledge, helping traditional SMEs to capture opportunities around the globe, and to establish their presence beyond exhibitions and physical stores. DHL Express Hong Kong will also share its expertise and knowhow on e-commerce logistics and fulfillment - a crucial aspect for small order suppliers in managing growing online orders and meeting time-sensitive customer needs.
